Day 1
Arrive in Conegliano
Highlights: Conegliano Old Town, Prosecco wine route
Built at the foothills of the Prosecco UNESCO World Heritage Site, Conegliano is also the heart of Prosecco. Here, grapes have been cultivated for centuries, but it was in 1868 that Antonio Carpenè founded Carpenè Malvolti winery and started producing Prosecco sparkling wine for the first time. In 1876 the first Italian Enological school was built in Conegliano and is still today one of the most prestigious ones in the country.

Day 2
Loop ride from Conegliano
Highlights: Serravalle, Prosecco vineyards and wineries
Enjoy your first day cycling lovely hills in the heart of the Prosecco region. Cycle along vineyards-covered hills all the way to historical Serravalle. Plenty of time to explore its cobblestone streets before heading back to Conegliano. Take time this afternoon for a walk in town or up to the castle for a great view over the surrounding villas.

Day 3
Cycle to Pieve di Soligo
Highlights: Refrontolo and the Croda Mill, Rolle, Pieve di Soligo
Leaving Conegliano today, you will cycle deeper into the Prosecco, where the work of generations of winemakers created this now famous, almost magical landscape. Stop by the enchanting Croda watermill on your way to Rolle, one of the most iconic villages of the area, overlooking a vineyard carpeted valley. For wine lovers, we recommend a visit and wine tasting in Soligo (please inquire when making your tour reservation and include the visit in your tour package).

Day 4
Loop ride from Pieve di Soligo
Highlights: Follina Abbey, Cismon
Explore the higher vineyards of Prosecco on a great loop ride at the base of the Alps. Great views over the hills open up as you ride to Follina, site of the Cistercian Abbey of Saint Mary of Follina. Visit Cismon with its towering castle, and the typical village of Valmareno.

Day 5
Cycle to Asolo
Highlights: San Salvatore Castle, Montello, Asolo
Leave the heart of Prosecco and cycle west today crossing the Piave River, where one of the hardest battles was fought by the Italians and the Allied against the Austro-Hungarian empire in WWI. Cycling along the base of the Montello hills, you will arrive in the Asolo part of the Prosecco area, where different soils gift us different Prosecco wine.

Day 6
Cycle to Bassano del Grappa
Highlights: Asolo hills, Bassano and its famous covered wooden bridge, famous grappa spirit
Today you will cycle through the western-most area of the Prosecco, where gradually vineyards leave space to woodlands and other crops. Bassano del Grappa gets the name from Mount Grappa, but also gives the name to the famous Italian spirit. The village, built on the shore of the Brenta river, hosts two museums dedicated to grappa. Be sure to explore the lovely old town by foot, or find a piazza to sit and enjoy as the locals do.

Cycle to Vicenza
Highlights: Marostica, Vicenza and its Palladio basilica
As we leave Bassano, you will cross its famous wooden covered bridge on your way to the Medieval village of Marostica. Have a cappuccino in the main square before leaving the mountains behind and cycling South to Vicenza - this marvelous Italian art city is the home of many masterpieces from famous Renaissance architect Andrea Palladio.
